“Dr. Death” Creates “Suicide Pods” for Couple to Kill Themselves Together - LifeNews.com

Suicide pods now have a “double dutch” option, where couples can die together in Switzerland. These 3D-printed death pods are designed for two people to climb inside, press a single button at the same time, and pass away within minutes.
Suicide pods were created by Philip Nitschke, often nicknamed “Dr. Death,” and were first introduced in 2024 for single-person use. The individual must meet with a psychiatrist for a mental capacity assessment to determine whether he or she is considered “fit” to proceed.
With the push of a button, the chamber fills with nitrogen, causing the person to lose consciousness within seconds, followed shortly by death. What is being marketed as innovation is, in reality, a modernized gas chamber. Now that same concept has been redesigned to end not one life, but two at once.

"The God Who Thirsts"

Yesterday, we celebrated the third Sunday of Lent. Jesus encounters the Samaritan woman at the well. We also mark the first scrutiny in preparation for the Baptism of the catechumens. They will receive the Sacraments of Christian Initiation at the Easter Vigil.
This is the Preface from the Mass:
It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation, always and everywhere to give you thanks, Lord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God, through Christ our Lord. For when he asked the Samaritan woman for water to drink, he had already created the gift of faith within her and so ardently did he thirst for her faith, that he kindled in her the fire of divine love. And so we, too, give you thanks and with the Angels praise your mighty deeds, as we acclaim: Holy ...

The Catholic Register gets it wrong on the war on Iran

The March 5 Catholic Register's editorial titled, "Pope, PM’s circle of sanity," is correct in arguing that Pope Leo has a sane response to the war in the Middle East against Iran. He has wisely called for diplomacy, peace and prayer. It's the same message issued by the Conference of Catholic Bishops. It's how Catholics must respond to war, destruction, suffering and death.
Nevertheless, the editorial staff at The Register believe they can square a circle and use the Pope's message to back the war. The paper supports Canada's approval to bomb Iran and kill women and children by the United States and Israel…. Why? Their insane reasoning is that the operation will stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon. At the same time, Canada also supports the Iranian people as well as the right of Israel to defend itself from an oppressive regime.
Do the Register writers realize that this twisted thinking makes no sense? It's completely contradictory. And so they say, "At first blush, the two statements …

Veteran shouting ‘No one wants to fight for Israel’ injured during Capitol protest - LifeSite

Thu Mar 5, 2026 - 6:53 pm ESTFri Mar 6, 2026 - 10:00 am EST
(
LifeSiteNews) — A former American Marine protesting the U.S.-Israeli war against Iran suffered a broken arm after disrupting a senate hearing on Capitol Hill and being physically subdued by police and a U.S. Senator who joined the fray.
“No one wants to fight for Israel!” shouted former Sgt. Brian McGinnis repeatedly while wearing his Marine Corps dress blues as three Capitol police officers struggled to remove him.
As the veteran effectively resisted the officers, Montana Republican Senator Tim Sheehy stepped in to assist.
The injury occurred when McGinnis’ hand got wedged in a door frame during the struggle as Sheehy and the officers attempted to shove him through it, all as he continued to shout his message.

We have been sold to the devil. By the very people we voted for. And why I have refused to vote for some time now. Seen it long ago. but never realized it was this bad. Putting money first before the very same people that voted for them. It's sick and evil. And I sure am looking forward for that Great Chastisement. I may die, but I will die knowing those left alive will live a good clean and Holy life. All evil will destroyed so people can live in peace and love. One Fold and one Shepherd.

Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops push for peace in the Middle East
The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops have done the right thing in releasing a statement about the latest war in the Middle East. The bishops remind the faithful that the only answer to conflict is peace, diplomacy and prayer. In war, we're all defeated.
Sadly, there are Christians and even a number of evangelical pastors who are telling their congregations to support the military operation against Iran. This is not the Christian answer.

Univeristy of Toronto discriminates against those who don't believe in the religion of DIE
Don't believe in the secular woke religion of DIE, diversity, inclusion and equity? Well, don't bother to apply to be a professor at Canada's progressive University of Toronto? Of course, "All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply," and go through the process. Just don't expect any diversity heretic to be hired. We are all marine Brian McGinnis!

"Marine Brian McGinnis was dragged out of a congressional hearing on the war, shouting as Capitol Hill police pulled him from the room, 'No one wants to fight for Israel.' Footage showed McGinnis in his Marine uniform being lifted off his feet and carried out of the room by Capitol police officers, as well as by Sen. Tim Sheehy, R-Montana.
"Multiple outlets
reported McGinnis had his arm broken in the incident. According to an electoral profile of the former soldier, who is running as a Green Party candidate for a North Carolina senate seat, McGinnis served with the Marines from 2000 to 2004."
If this is the brutal way Americans who question the conflict are treated within days of the start of the war by the United States and Israel against Iran, what will happen if it lasts months? Watch the disturbing video below. We are all marine Brian McGinnis!

Canadians join the JCCF campaign to stop politicizing regulatory bodies and unions

Ontarians and those living in other Canadian provinces ought to support the campaign by the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms to "Protect the public from the politicization of Ontario's regulatory bodies." The woke agenda has become a way to attack free speech and used to cancel people. It's an authoritarian approach which undermines the common good and democracy. These harmful progressives policies must be stopped. The JCCF has a strategy to do So:
Send a letter to the Attorney General of Ontario and the Premier urging them to amend provincial legislation governing regulatory bodies to prohibit any form of compelled speech or ideological enforcement. When regulators directly or indirectly compel members to express certain views, or embed political ideologies into mandatory courses or codes of ethics, they erode public trust and compromise the essential independence of the professionals they oversee.

Historic Saint-Paul Catholic Church in Montreal destroyed by fire - LifeSite

Fri Feb 27, 2026 - 3:15 pm EST
MONTREAL, Quebec (
LifeSiteNews) — A historic Catholic church in Montreal, Canada, was reduced to near rubble in a huge blaze, the cause of which investigators still have not determined.
The over 100-year-old Saint-Paul Catholic Church in Montreal, Quebec, went up in flames on February 23. A food bank next to it was also reduced to ashes. The church was built in 1910 and holds significant historical meaning for the local community.
While the church has been vacant for some time, about 148 people had to flee the area due to the flames, including over 70 seniors who lived in a nearby care home.
The cause of the church fire, say investigators, is not yet known; however, it comes at a time when arson attacks on Catholic churches in Canada have reached epidemic-like proportions.
Mayor of the local borough of Saint-Paul’s, Véronique Fournier, in a statement on social media, said the fire is “challenging for the residents of Côte-Saint-Paul” as the church has …
