Pope Leo XIV on Sunday strongly rejected euthanasia while addressing sick and disabled people and healthcare workers at the Sanctuary of Lourdes, France.
Speaking at the Accueil Notre-Dame, Leo XIV said the human person is “worthy” simply by virtue of existing and that human dignity “cannot be measured or debated.”
“No human law should ever make you lose the certainty of your dignity,” he said.
