September 30 is Canada's
National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. It's also Orange Shirt Day to show solidarity with the cause. It's a federal statutory holiday to remember residential school survivors, their families and communities. It's about the need to address the harm done by the Canadian Indian residential school system. The official line is that a genocide tool place.
In 2021, there was claim by Indigenous nations that ground-penetrating radar surveys had shown an unmarked mass grave containing 215 children who had attended a residential school. However, six years later not one child has been found. Not the Liberal government of Canada, the MSM and the activists behind the unfounded claim are interested in the truth. It's a case of just accept what we say or else face the consequences.
