He told the Substack.com account The Pillar (March 31) that accusations he violated Iceland’s ban on “conversion therapy” stem from a “misunderstanding”. Rev Rolland is a French priest who has lived in Iceland for more than 40 years. The controversy arose from an interview with a lesbian journalist from the state broadcaster RÚV.
