Leo XIV-Appointed Archbishop at the UN wants to get rid of free speech.
The new Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations, Archbishop Christophe El-Kassis, delivered his first address at the UN on September 17.
The Archbishop rejected “every form of intolerance, discrimination, and hate speech”. And: “Any hate speech - directed at either individuals or communities because of their religion, race, nationality, or any other characteristic - goes against the commandment to love one’s neighbor.”
He believes, it “poisons public discourse, inflames division, and too often prepares the ground for violence and persecution.”
Words that intentionally provoke hatred “cannot claim the protection of liberty.”
Leo XIV appointed Monsignor El-Kassis to the United Nations in July.

How absolutely disgusting! Who determines the 'intentionality' here?!! The sender, or, as has become more common nowadays, those who would look for offense and hatred especially where none has been given. Under such a glaringly absurd 'rule' our Lord's denunciation of the Pharisees and scribes as being "like white sepulchres..." as well as numerous other justifiable condemnations merited His 'silencing'. God help us!

Without Love, Everything Else Is Nothing
St. Paul emphasizes that while faith, hope, and charity are all essential, charity is the greatest virtue because it endures beyond faith and hope. True charity, a supernatural love for God and neighbor, flows from a deep love for God and is characterized by selflessness and a focus on the well-being of others. To be chosen, we must answer God’s call with faith, hope, and, most importantly, charity.

French military chaplain Romain Ghandou has sparked a political storm, with a prominent left-wing politician calling for his imprisonment.
The video is from a 7 Oct 2025 Mass at Carcassonne Cathedral, before soldiers of the 3rd Marine Infantry Parachute Regiment (3e RPIMa).
“Calm down, leftists! Breathe through your nose,” Ghandou said, drawing laughter and applause. He attacked “liars,” “incompetents” and those who “lecture everyone.”
He urged soldiers to “keep fighting” and have “the courage of your convictions,” warning that otherwise France would be ridiculed and “others will take our place.”
Le Canard enchaîné publicised the footage Friday, sparking outrage on the left. Jean-Luc Mélenchon, founder of La France Insoumise (France Unbowed), alleged “racist insults” and said: “His place is in prison.”
Le Canard linked the sermon to the “Great Replacement,” though Ghandou does not use that phrase in the published excerpt.

Carlo Maria Viganò interviewed by Gaetano Masciullo for LifeSiteNews
Sep 10, 2026
LifeSiteNews: Your Excellency, in your new book you argue that today the first enemy of the papacy is the Pope himself. How do you explain this paradox?
Archbishop Viganò: The paradox is only apparent, and it is resolved as soon as one distinguishes what Catholic theology always distinguished: the Papacy as a divine institution, willed by Our Lord when He said to Peter, “Tu es Petrus,” and the individual person who at any given moment in history occupies the Chair of Peter.
The Papacy is indefectible, because it is of Christ; the person of the Pope is a man, with his free will, who may correspond to the grace of state or reject it. On the other hand, the Church prays for the Supreme Pontiff, asking the Divine Majesty to preserve the Domnum Apostolicum in Holy Religion, precisely because she knows that his perseverance in the Faith is not automatically guaranteed by the office. If this were not so, that is …އިތުރު

Shannon Holmes is a movement therapist who used to help people with physiotherapy before she took the Covid vaccine.
After the shot her legs began tingling and vibrating and she knew something was terribly wrong.
After seeking medical help the doctor said she’s a “giant medical question mark” she was then told to just go home.
Her pain started getting worse, spreading throughout her entire body.
That evening she felt like she was being electrocuted.
The video shows how she felt like she was being uncontrollably “pulled”
She is in constant pain now, it’s been 5 years and there’s no end in sight.
The Canadian government and health authorities have done absolutely nothing to help her.
Please share her story!!

The Mystery of the Blood of Saint Januarius
September 19 – Memorial of Saint Januarius, Bishop and Martyr
Dear brothers and sisters, as you already know, regarding matters not directly concerning the *depositum fidei* (the deposit of faith), the Church has never officially pronounced judgment on the "miraculous" or "supernatural" nature of the events surrounding the blood of Saint Januarius in Naples.
Scientific examinations have thus far been prevented by the fact that the two ampoules are sealed with an extremely hard mastic that makes it impossible to open them without breaking the glass. However, spectrographic analysis conducted by professors from the University of Naples has demonstrated that the contents are undoubtedly blood. In any case, the very existence of this blood defies explanation: were the laws of nature to apply, the blood would have long since putrefied and turned to dust.
Indeed, as the scholar Professor Gastone Lambertini summarized after years of research: "One …އިތުރު

Cardinal Pietro Parolin: “Russia should not be isolated.”
Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of a conference in Rome on September 16, the Vatican Secretary of State reiterated the Holy See’s case for maintaining direct channels with Moscow as the war in Ukraine continues.
“Russia should not be isolated,” Cardinal Parolin said according to VaticanNews.va. He argued that some form of channel must be maintained “where people can talk to one another”.
Cardinal Parolin admitted that the results of Vatican diplomacy so far have been “rather limited”. Nevertheless, Vatican diplomacy will “continue on our path.”
He also confirmed that Cardinal Matteo Zuppi’s humanitarian mission concerning Ukraine will continue, including returning to Moscow this September.

Bishop Mutsaerts attacks “angry” Catholic blogs.
Dutch Auxiliary Bishop Rob Mutsaerts — one of the better bishops, who survived a car accident in June — has launched a polemical attack on Catholics who dominate online discourse.
“One can eventually spend so much time fighting modernism that Christ becomes almost incidental,” Mutsaerts writes in a lengthy article on his blog on September 16.
“One can read every day about everything going wrong in Rome and barely open the Gospel. One can receive news of the latest disaster in a dicastery on Facebook within ten minutes and have no idea which saint is commemorated that day.”
“That is not a victory for tradition. It is spiritual distraction.”
Mutsaerts continues: “Read more Augustine than ecclesiastical Twitter. Read more Benedict XVI than angry blogs. Spend longer praying for your bishop than complaining about him.”
Elsewhere, he alleges that Catholics preoccupied with Church politics may not even know the Catechism: “A Catholic who does …އިތުރު

Why Israel Fears This Searing New Documentary

Israel is treating the new documentary “NAZA,” by the Israeli filmmakers Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, less like bad publicity than a national security crisis.
Eyal Zamir, chief of staff of the Israel Defense Forces, pledged to use “every tool at our disposal” against the documentary, which features anonymous interviews with 24 intelligence officers and soldiers, most involved in remote strikes in Gaza. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called for legislation that would let the state strip Abraham and Szor of their citizenship. Israel’s culture minister has asked the Interior Ministry to investigate them for treason. Activists and staff members from the far-right party of Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir protested outside Szor’s parents’ house, where a speaker called for Abraham and Szor to be executed and their families’ homes …އިތުރު

Anglican Lay-Archbishop Sarah Mullally of Canterbury has revoked an award to Pakistani Muslim scholar Tahir Ashrafi.
The reversal followed mounting online outrage over Ashrafi’s 2007 remarks praising Osama bin Laden as deserving the title “Saifullah” (“Sword of God”) for “waging jihad against infidels.” Ashrafi says his remarks were taken out of context.

As announced by Lambeth Palace of the Archdiocese of Canterbury on its official website, Archbishop Sarah has decided to withdraw the Hubert Walter Prize for Reconciliation and Interfaith Cooperation, which she awarded to Imam Maulana Hafiz M.T.M. Asrafi on September 11 - a decision that caused quite a stir.
