Leo XIV Addresses Vetus Ordo in Message to French Bishops
Pope Leo XIV sent a message to the French bishops regarding the Mass in the Roman rite. The message was written by the Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin.
The French bishops opened their spring assembly in Lourdes on 24 March. At the opening, Cardinal Jean-Marc Aveline of Marseille said that key discussions would include a conference on liturgy and tradition, addressing debates on the Roman rite and its communities.
