Saint Hilary of Arles - May 5

Profile
Born and raised a pagan; relative of Saint Honoratus of Arles. Highly placed civil authority. Honoratus invited Hilary to the recently completed abbey of Lerins, and brought him to the faith; Hilary was baptised at Lerins, and joined the community as a monk. When Honoratus became bishop of Arles (in modern France) Hilary served as his secretary. Bishop of Arles. Hilary was an exuberant bishop, working so hard to spread the faith that he caused problems with the people and the civil authorities, and twice had to be reproved by the Vatican – his zealousness was causing more trouble than converts. But though some questioned his methods, none questions his sanctity or his true belief.

The Dialogue of Saint Catherine of Siena
St. Catherine, one of the few remarkable women declared a Doctor of the Church, did not write this text with a pen and ink, but dictated it while in a state of ecstasy, recording a continuous, intimate dialogue with God the Father.
The Dialogue is a practical, soul-stirring conversation for anyone seeking clarity, certainty, and an unshakeable connection to the Divine.

The apostate of infamous memory, Jorge Bergoglio, encouraged his nurse, Massimiliano Strappetti, to receive Communion in a sacrilegious manner.

Francis to Male Caregiver in Concubinage: “Do They Give You Communion?”

“Pope Francis was like a second father to me, and I still miss him deeply,” said his nurse, Massimiliano Strappetti, 56, in an interview with Corriere.it on April 19.
Francis hated hospital stays and joked whenever he had to go to Gemelli Hospital: “You’ll see—the cardinals are preparing the conclave now.”
“Every morning when he woke up, he would ask me, ‘Hello, who died today?’ That was just how he was,” Strappetti recalled.
One day, Strappetti told Francis that he was divorced and living with another woman. The pope replied: “And what’s the problem?”
He then asked: “Do they let you receive Communion? If not, tell me the names of those priests who refuse - I’ll go speak to them myself!”
For Strappetti, Francis was a “surprising” pope.

Acts 13:44-52
On the road, there are people who have no idea of what God's presence is like.
It is good to approach them gently and reveal the beauty of God in their hearts.
John 14:7-14
Jesus said to Philip, “Whoever has seen me has seen the Father.”
When we realize that the love of God loves us infinitely more than the greatest joy we have ever experienced, we begin to see God.

St. Athanasius, Saint of May 2

I just finished reading a synopsis of the life of St. Athanasius (c. 296-373), who was one of the greatest saints of the Church. Some aspects of his life that I did not know caught my attention, and they seemed appropriate to address with you today.
St. Athanasius
You know that St. Athanasius lived at the time of the Emperor Constantine and his immediate successors. That is, in an epoch when the Church was leaving the catacombs and organizing herself in the light of day. As the persecutions promoted by the pagans declined, the Church suffered another scourge, certainly worse than the pagan persecutions: the scourge of heresies and internal divisions, which we know very well since we are witnessing now something similar with Progressivism inside the Church.
One of the most nefarious heresies of History expanded precisely at the time of St. Athanasius and Constantine: it was the heresy of Arianism. The followers of Arius affirmed that Our Lord Jesus Christ had only a human nature, and was …

What an excellent essay. St. Athanasius uses a similar technique to that used by the prophet Daniel in defending the accused wife (who reminds us so much of a faithful Catholic woman).
St. Athanasius also has a prophetic defense against contraception. (not quoted in this article)

Ed Pentin, Diane Montagna slam Vatican’s reception of female ‘archbishop’ of Canterbury – Allah's Willing Executioners

Prominent Vatican journalists Edward Pentin and Diane Montagna decried the Vatican’s recent reception and celebration of the Anglican female “archbishop” of Canterbury as scandalous and “absurd.”
Montagna on Monday
quoted from Pope Leo XIV’s address to Sarah Mullally in which he referred to “new problems” that “have arisen in recent decades, rendering the pathway to full communion” between the Catholic Church and Anglicans “more difficult to discern.”
“Of course, chief among these new problems is the fact that a woman dressed in liturgical attire is now being passed off – and celebrated by the Vatican and even by the Pope – as someone who seemingly has valid Orders when she doesn’t – first because she’s a woman and second because she’s an Anglican,” Montagna wrote.
She highlighted the fact that Archbishop Flavio Pace, Secretary of the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity, had gone so far as to “bow” before her and make the Sign of the Cross “as though receiving a real …

Carmelite community of Campiègne martyrs to close

The six remaining cloistered Carmelite nuns in Jonquières, France, are closing their historic community, ending a 400-year legacy of prayer ... and martyrdom.
It's a sad consequence of the lack of religious vocations. Bishop Jacques Benoit-Gonnin of Beauvais, Noyon, and Senlis (France) announced on April 21 the closure of the Compiègne
Carmelite community, located some six miles from the original site, in Jonquières, since 1992.
"As age advances, numbers decrease, vocations are slow in coming, and external reinforcements are impossible to find, our Carmelite Sisters of Compiègne have decided to close their community," the bishop explained. Six nuns currently remain at the monastery. They will leave gradually over the coming months.

Studied the classics and theology in Alexandria, Egypt. Deacon, secretary, and student of bishop Alexander of Alexandria. Attended the Council of Nicea in 325 where he fought for the defeat of Arianism and acceptance of the divinity of Jesus. Formulated the doctrine of homo-ousianism which says that Christ is the same substance as the Father; Arianism taught that Christ was different from and a creation of the Father, a creature and not part of God. Bishop of Alexandria c.328; he served for 46 years. When the dispute over Arianism spilled over from theology to politics, Athanasius got exiled five times, spending more than a third of his episcopate in exile. DC1 St. Athanasius of Alexandria – The Doctors of the Church with Dr. Matthew Bunson
From Vatican.va, an excerpt from the teachings of Pope Benedict XVI General Audience 2007: Athanasius was undoubtedly one of the most important and revered early Church Fathers. But this great Saint was above all the impassioned theologian of the Incarnation of the Logos, the Word of God who – as the Prologue of the fourth Gospel says – “became flesh and dwelt among us” (Jn 1: 14). For this very reason Athanasius was also the most important and tenacious adversary of the Arian heresy, which at that time threatened faith in Christ, reduced to a creature “halfway” between God and man, according to a recurring tendency in history which we also see manifested today in various forms. In all likelihood Athanasius was born in Alexandria, Egypt, in about the year 300 A.D. He received a good education before becoming a deacon and secretary to the Bishop of Alexandria, the great Egyptian metropolis. As a close …Zêde

Al Gore Shifts On Global Warming: Time To Watch Out For A New Ice Age?
BY TYLER DURDEN
WEDNESDAY,
APR 29, 2026 - 08:10 PM
The rhetoric and predictions behind climate change "science" change so haphazardly, it's a sure sign that the entire field of study is fraudulent. If the manufactured hysteria is not enough to clue people in, the failed predictions of Al Gore should do the trick.
Former Vice President Al Gore warned a Hollywood audience this week that a "Gulf Stream collapse" could occur within 25 years, leading to an abrupt and devastating new Ice Age.
Mr. Gore, now 78, appeared at the inaugural Sustainability in Entertainment Honors event, co-hosted by The Hollywood Reporter and the Sustainable Entertainment Alliance at Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles. He participated in a keynote conversation with actor Bradley Whitford of “The West Wing,” timed to the 20th anniversary of “An Inconvenient Truth.”
Gore invoked the scenario depicted in the 2004 disaster film “The Day After Tomorrow …Zêde

Stand for the FSSPX

There's no question about it, the same Vatican that WON’T evangelize jews and any other false religions, as they opose "religious proselytism", the same Vatican who abandoned the real Catholic Church in China to embrace the chinese communist party's false church, the same Vatican who stands proudly with the celebrated female bishop of the UK, WILL excommunicate the FSSPX.
What will you do? I understand, it’s not like we can burn tires and throw stones like some people do in countries around the world, perhaps NOT even a march of protest will turn false prophet Leo's decision, but 1st things first... Can an antipope excommunicate? Can a false prophet push your faith away? Can a promoter if beautiful lies cast you out from the grasp of our Lord? Exactly! Leo has no power to eclipse your strong faith, but the thing he can do is to make you suffer.
