And I agree 100% Moscow has argued that public resistance to conscription demonstrates that the Ukrainian government has lost its legitimacy and can survive only as a dictatorship.
– Folha de S. Paulo, March 28, 1984 – by Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira In my long public life, I have never been a politician. I was not one, even in 1934 when I served as a representative for São Paulo in the constituent assembly on the “Single Slate.” In fact, on that slate, I did not represent any political party but the large non-partisan organization known as the Catholic Electoral League. During my term, I took a personal stance — different from that of my caucus — only on issues related to defending the Church and Christian civilization. After my term ended, the two main political groups in São Paulo — the PRP and the Constitutionalist Party — politely yet insistently invited me to join their slates for the 1935 election. I chose instead to run as an independent candidate, even though the results of that election (which should be noted) were fiercely contested. I recall all these facts to clearly show how long I’ve been detached from party politics. It is a detachment that only very …More
Pro-homosexual Archbishop John C. Wester of Santa Fe, New Mexico, defended "our Muslim neighbors' right to worship" in a July 27 statement. He had heard in recent weeks concerns from some residents regarding the proposal to build a mosque and community center in Albuquerque's North Valley. "Our Muslim neighbors have the same God-given and constitutionally protected right to worship freely as every other faith community, including our own. Defending that right is not only a civic duty but a core element of Catholic teaching", the Archbishop wrote. According to Monsignor Wester, supporting the construction of a mosque is entirely consistent with Catholic tradition and moral commitments. He urged Catholics to "choose respect, dialogue, and peaceful coexistence." In 2025, it emerged that, Archbishop Wester promoted and lived with a priest who had spent ten years in a registered homosexual relationship. Picture: AI, #newsXofkbkkgnx
Around 500 nude volunteers gathered outside the Cathedral of Santa Ana in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, on Sunday for a photographic installation by American artist Spencer Tunick as part of the Culture & Business Pride festival. Participants, painted in the rainbow colors, posed in front of the cathedral on the feast of St. Anne, the city's patron saint. The project was planned in advance as an official festival event, with backing from local tourism and government bodies. Organizers said the artwork celebrated diversity and homosexuality. According to El País, the local bishop, Monsignor José Mazuelos, said he did not object to the nude performance in front of his cathedral: "I have no problem. When we go to the beach, we see naked bodies, don't we?" His complaint was instead about access restrictions that temporarily delayed clergy and parishioners attending the 10 a.m. Eucharist. He also described the event as "marketing for the city," adding he supported it insofar as it promoted …More

exactly how do inside and outside cameras and alarms prevent this desecration? They may help in identifing the criminals but they do not prevent it. I also am curious, what makes you think this church is relatively wealthy?
I have little sympathy for damage suffered by any relatively wealthy church that still hasn't installed inside and outside surveillance cameras, along with taking such other measures like alarming entrances and making doors & locks as break-in proof as possible. God's in there and deserves better protection.
Rev. Gerald Murray Questions Vatican's Rupnik Trial: The New York-based canon lawyer criticises the lack of transparency in the Vatican's canonical trial against Marko Rupnik. "Why don't we know who the judges are?" he asked talking to Raymond Arroyo on 25 July. Rev Murray also pointed out that "we don't know which charges" are being levelled against Rupnik. Finally, he argues that victims who provided evidence should have the right to participate in the process. "The whole thing is a horrific problem."

Sometimes the footnote is to help clarify for the reader Sister’s sense of the meaning of a certain word or idea, and at other times to better convey the sense of God’s tone when He spoke. I see the sorrow of so many of My children in the face of the confusion that has now invaded My whole Church. How much pain is caused by the rejection of Truth and of the order that the Father established for the good of all His children. Remember this, little ones, EVERYTHING that the Father has established, ordered, commanded, has been done out of Love for you; for your eternal good; ALL leading to the perfect union in the …More
